Evaluation of the potential for the allocation of spaces “To different uses” in a popular neighborhood.
The Home Policies and Social Enhancement Sector of the Municipality of Milan, as part of the social support for housing in the public housing districts, intervenes in the Quarto Oggiaro district with the collaboration of Arci Milano.
During 2015 – with the technical support and scientific direction entrusted to KCity srl – an in-depth study was carried out aimed at recognizing and assessing the criticalities of the methods for allocating spaces intended for “different uses” used in the past (and not have guaranteed the expected results) and to promote a reflection on how to facilitate the combination of supply and demand for non-residential spaces within the district.
