In Varano De’ Melegari, in the Parma Apennines, the Dallara Foundation, in collaboration with the municipality, aims to expand on its existing approach to create an integrated system of interconnected places and services managed in a coordinated manner. This system will provide the community with opportunities to take an active role and meet new needs, thereby countering the trend of depopulation.

KCity, an advisor to the Foundation since its inception, is working to replicate and expand the model that has already been successfully tested in the Parco dei Melograni pilot project, as a strategic approach to promoting initiatives and programs for territorial regeneration with a social impact, both at the local level in the municipality of Varano and throughout the entire Valceno region.

Vigevano
The Municipality of Vigevano’s sustainable urban development strategy envisages the creation of an integrated system of spaces and services to support inclusive education, including the transformation of a degraded public area into an educational park.
The strategy supports the regeneration and reintegration of the waterfront into the city by redeveloping a series of currently abandoned or underused sites along it, and by activating services within these spaces aimed at combating poverty and promoting well-being.
