The Municipality of Genoa, which for several years has been focusing projects and resources on the revitalisation of the historic city centre, intends to use funds from the PN Metro Plus 2021–27 programme to support business investment initiatives capable of generating social impact.

KCity has been commissioned to provide technical assistance to the Administration in carrying out preliminary analyses of the local context, aimed at identifying strategic economic sectors and supporting the modelling of interventions. KCity is also responsible for drafting and communicating the Public Notice through which this urban regeneration policy will be implemented.

The project aims to create a new cultural hub in the area between the provinces of Bergamo and Brescia, starting with the restoration and enhancement of a historic park formed by the union of the gardens of three early-20th-century villas, and by networking the social and cultural actors in the area.
