From suburbs to town, starting from the creation of a new park
The feasibility study originates from the preliminary draft of a new park (Green Line), developed in 2007 by “Parco Nord” within the framework of the “Social City” Neighborhood Contract (Contratto di Quartiere) for the Cormano Fornasè district.
In the meantime, the contextual setting has changed and the availability of public resources for the creation and management of green areas has been considerably reduced. As a consequence, the study (carried out with Carolina Fois’ landscaping technical assistance) focused on limiting expenditures and phasing the creation of the new park over time.
